Springfield Shrine Club

Tonight, Pam and I had a nice time at the Springfield Shrine Club (once we could get there due to the construction in the area). The speaker for the evening was from the Sheriff's office and he outlined many programs the department is actively using to help save tax payers money while keeping them safe. I was also pleased to hear that the Springfield Club is continuing their effort to reduce costs to help balance their club budget. I did hear loud and clear though the same message which I continually hear ....we could use more volunteers. While many of our Shriners are older or have been doing the job of volunteering for some time, each of us need to remember without volunteers some will have to close their doors. Any little bit you can do to help volunteer for your club, unit or Antioch is greatly appreciated.
