Tonight was the Annual K of C/Shrine joint meeting at the K of C Hall in Piqua. I attended this meeting last year as well and both groups have had a nice representation for their organizations both years. I think these type of joint meetings with other organizations are a nice idea (I know Campaign County also had one which I attended and the Golf Club usually holds an outing with the K of C as well) as it actually has given me the opportunity to renew friendships with some persons who I know from outside the Masonic organization and might not have seen for some time. In addition, both groups are focused on helping others and it is good to get to know new persons with similar interests.
