Fall Festival

Well despite the rain and gloomy night outside, the fun was happening on every floor of Antioch. In the basement around 50 kids enjoyed sand art, foam art, bouncing around, coloring and face painting by the lady clowns. Even a few adults headed down to have their faces painted. On the first floor there was food, food, food and drinks. Our popcorn man, Mr. Popcorn, Jim Smart was busy all evening and our new 1st Ceremonial Master Jim Thorpe was busy with the snow cones. We also had the Brass Band play and the dining room was full along with the Oasis. We had bars open on the 1st and 2nd floors. Upstairs Corn Hole, Wii Games, Baskethead Ball and Sumo Suit Wrestling was happening. Some of the most fun was watching the Rainbow Girls Sumo Wrestling each other and once the were on the floor not be able to move. Even the Pam Squared sisters Sumo Wrestled tonight. We also had the Potes Little Symphony playing upstairs this evening. We were even able to find a time slot outside where it was not raining and got the Fire Dancers in between downpours. Even the Bee made an appearance. I would like to thank the Funsters for bringing the Cotton Candy machine and running it this past evening. I would also like to thank the Aides and all who stepped in at the last second to help out where needed. Overall, probably more than 300 joined us during the evening and I was really glad to see everyone having such a good time.
