Today the Aides met to discuss the details of the Potentates Ball. Some might say 'but it is still two months off ' but really this is the meeting to finalize details as we have been working on this for over a year because like many activities it takes months to plan something like the Potentates Ball so we make sure it a top notch event for all in attendance. And actually reservations are due back on April 21st so we can start to put the final seating arrangements together. In addition, it takes a whole staff of Aides (along with a few other helpers) to pull off an event like this. We also did some side conversations on the other upcoming events but in general most of those events are being planned individually.
And I'm happy to say that while I decided on a little smaller core team of Aides (worker bees) this year, they have all stepped up to the challenge and are working together, filling in where needed and picking up for those who might have a last minute challenge and not able to attend....kind of like a hive of bees!
