Today was the Building Corps and Divan Meeting which meant there was allot of business being discussed today. Luckily, right now, in the Building Corps we are generally talking about normal maintenance, preventative maintenance, and cosmetic improvements. We also discussed the planning out of some improvements to the basement and other areas in the temple as funds might be made available. When it came to the Divan meeting, it originally looked as if it might be a short meeting but we soon determined otherwise. The only good part of a longer Divan meeting is when it continues to be productive and the discussion stays on target and the information being discussed is all relevant and beneficial to helping improve the long term for Antioch. I thought the added discussions we ended up having tonight were definitely worth it especially since one surrounded membership and the other surrounded ensuring that some items requiring noble’s assistance were going to be maximizing the value of the time being spent by Nobles on the project. Overall, most people would probably consider today's meetings as fairly boring but then to me that is probably a good sign since it means we have no major open items and we can focus of the important business of serving the Nobles....just how I like it.
