Well today was the pageant for the new incoming Imperial Potentate and the Parade. The parade was one of the best which we have been to in years as it went smoothly, started on time and the number of persons along the parade route was bigger than ever. The other thing which was great was the wild after party we had after the parade. While some had to leave immediately, many stayed and the pizzas went rapidly requiring 2 reorders for a total of 18 pizzas! WOW now that is some hungry Nobles and their ladies. The best part was, however, that the pizza place was located next to the hotel and it only took about 10 minutes to get another order placed and picked up. We also got to view the fireworks from our hotel roof. All in all a fun day though long and with lots of energy. Pictures to follow as Larry Cornett was in Charlotte to take pictures....thanks Larry!
