Syrian Shrine Potentate's Ball - 3/31

Our Birthday Boy
Little Scottie
After a short stop at another Masonic function in Norwood to support the Grand High Priest of Royal Arch Masons in Ohio at a Reception in his honor, I travelled over the border for the fourth activity of the day into the distant country of Kentucky to attend the Syrian Shrine Potentate's Ball. Antioch came out in force as all the progressing officers and their wives were in attendance. The Divan took the dance floor by storm under the watchful eye of our Dance instructors,  Bob & Mitsi Middlestead, who were also there but things quickly got rocking and we were no match for their protecting care. The night continued to roll along until we closed down the dance floor (everyone else had already left and they were threatening to charge us rent it we didn't vacate the room) so we did what any good Divan would do....we found the hospitality room and went to it until we closed it down sometime after 2 (or was it 3 ???) in the morning. I'm not saying things got out of hand but some of the Divan may still be finding bail money while others who were single at the beginning of the night are trying to find out if they still are!

P.S. If you get chance ....ask Val about the next day

A good lesson for all
 DON'T MIX DRINKING AND DANCING!

Proof Positive...we traded Scott for a player to be named later!
(Check out closely the Temple name on his Fez)
