Irish Night At The Shrine

Why wait until March 17th for St.Pat's Day when you can come down to Antioch the day before and have great food, great entertainment and close the bar down? Well more than 100 people agreed tonight and we had a fun night with enough Irish Food (and Fish for those who don't eat meat on Friday's during Lent) to feed the army of members present along with their guests. Our Aides, along with our head chef Pam Shaw, produced an outstanding variety. Even more joined us upstairs as over 150 watched the McGovern Ceili Dancers perform and then the Oasis was filling to over flowing until the wallets were empty and the well was dry. While I had some before the evening tell me they didn't like Corned Beef or Cabbage, they ate it all!

And we do have a good news, bad news situation, our Chief Rabban was told to watch what he eats so he decided to make it up by drinking more.....

And while the First Kid is down she isn't out as she came a day after surgery on her foot
And as a P.S. I had a really nice note sent to me after this event in which a member of Antioch for more than 50 years told me this was one of the most fun and memorable times he had ever had at Antioch.
